Founded in 2001, Hanoi University of Public Health’s main goal is to provide high-quality training and education to the students of Viet Nam. Its focus is to build dedicated, competent, and self-confident human resources for health, in order to effectively contribute to the sustainability of the public health network and health care system in Viet Nam. HUPH aims to become the leading university in Viet Nam and in the region in the area of public health training and scientific research. HUPH is committed to strengthening partnerships with national and international organizations and agencies toward substantial integration and globalization.
The University has already collaborated with CONNECT partners, including Mahidol University, Thailand, and the Health Strategy and Policy Institute of Viet Nam on awareness and advocacy for the extension of social health protection In 2021, with the support of the ILO, the university organized a sensitization campaign and media competition among the university students, with the aim to build a strong culture of social health protection.
